The Real Reason

So many people around the world dream about go to Paris, at least once on their lives. I wasn’t one of those people.

Thou I agree that the city is amazing, happy, full of energy, history and elegance it was never on my list.

But destiny wanted me there at some point of my life, by bringing two of my favorites bands: Guns n’ Roses and Depeche Mode. Right on the same week that I have my holidays.

So I planned it all, got the tickets for both GnR was about 92 € and for Depeche Mode 65 €, on via fogo website.

To be sincere I had no idea on where I would stay, since I couldn’t find much help, so I picked by the price some apart hotel on district 18th, which I do not recall the name. But all I can say is that was alright, clean, big, cheap I remember that I paid around 685 € for the ten days that I’ve stay there, plus 200 € for security deposit which was given back at the end.

Paris is very easy to move by subway, even me who hates public transport felt very convenient, since I was a bit far away of the center.

On the day of the concert again I took the metro and then a train, the same one that goes to the airport and reached the Stadium of Paris.

First show was Depeche Mode, after few days of rain, we were blessed by a very hot weather. Was amazing gather with people which love the same music as me, I don’t often find that ☹️

Without the delay, they entered the stage and made the time stop for me. With few new songs and the classics like “Enjoy the Silence”, we all sang and danced together.

One week for me to recover my energy and then Guns N’ Roses. Oh! This time was maybe 2.5 times or even more than Depeche. There were people from everywhere, every skin color, language and background. This only football and music can do, united everyone because of a common love.

So that’s the reason I went to Paris first of all, and then I keep going back over and over after fell in love with the city❤️😍

  3. Depeche Mode are my favorite, growing up that’s all I listened to. But seems to me you’re too young to know them, I mean I listened to them in the mid 80s. In any case love your taste in music and you’re very beautiful. I follow you on Instagram and will try to keep up on your blogs.

    Enjoy your travels.
